Being a trading card collector is fun 365 days out of the year but the fun is even greater around the Holidays because the variety of products to choose from is even greater than usual.
Whether it's NASCAR, Elvis, Football, Basketball or the hit TV show 24, Press Pass and its variety of products have it covered this Holiday season. What could be cooler than getting a cut signature from Elvis Aaron Presley and his father Vernon!? Or a piece of sheet metal from Dale Jr's race car? And of course there's Adrian Peterson and all of this year's top football rookies.
Opening a pack of trading cards any day of the year is like opening a Holiday present. So for those of you just getting into the "spirit" now is as good a time as any to take up the hobby of collecting trading cards.
If you are new to the hobby there are no special skills required! If you are passionate about a sport or entertainment property then chances are that there are trading cards available for that sport or property. Packs are available at your local hobby shop or any of the major retailers located in most cities or towns. For a fraction of what it would cost you to attend a sporting event you can actually hold your favorite sport in your hand. Through unique photography that you can't see anywhere else go for a ride with Jimmie Johnson or your favorite NASCAR driver.
Trading cards make a great stocking stuffer. Hook up a friend or child with a pack of a cards and watch the excitement in their eyes as they thumb through each new cardboard treasure. While you are at it go ahead and treat yourself. You just might pull that Dale, Jr. autograph card you've always wanted...
